Risk information - About the PANTHENOL ingredient in MINA nail oil

What do you have to consider before using PANTHENOL?

PANTHENOL must not be used

PANTHENOL must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to dexpanthenol or any of the other ingredients of the drug.

It is not intended for use in the eye. In combination with wool wax, stearyl alcohol and cetyl alcohol (components of these medicines), local skin irritations (e.g. contact dermatitis) can occur. Must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to methyl (4-hydroxybenzoate) and propyl (4-hydroxybenzoate). Sodium benzoate can cause slight irritation to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. The product must not be used on deep wounds, leg ulcers (Ulcus cruris) and when using a tight-fitting and covering bandage (occlusive bandage). MINA nail oil should not be used on the eyes or in the immediate vicinity of the eyes or in the ears.

Particular caution is required when using PANTHENOL

When treating the genital or anal area, the additive paraffin used at the same time as latex condoms can lead to a reduction in tear strength and thus to an impairment of the safety of the condoms. When used on the eye, slight visual impairment is possible in the short term.

Children: There are no age-related restrictions for the use of PANTHENOL. Children should only be used under adult supervision. Smaller doses of dexpanthenol are usually sufficient for infants and young children.

Pregnancy : There is no restriction of use for the active ingredient dexpanthenol normal use. However, 1 drop should not be used more than 2 times a day. There are no clinical data on use in pregnant women.

Lactation : There is no restriction on the use of the active ingredient dexpanthenol in normal use. However, 1 drop should not be applied more than 2 x daily. There are no clinical data for use in pregnant women. There are no clinical data on use during lactation and passage into breast milk. Breastfeeding women should not use the product on the breast area.

Driving ability and operating machines: An impairment of the ability to react is not to be expected.
